This policy explains the cookies and similar tools used on the Load & Go Logistics website, run by Load and Go Logistics (Pty) Ltd, and how you choose which of them run. Read it with our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar tools keep information in your browser's storage, or send information about your visit to the company that provides the tool. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
Your choice
- When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline the cookies that are not essential.
- Analytics and marketing tools run only as far as your choice allows. If you decline them, they stay off.
- Essential cookies always run, because the website and its forms cannot work safely without them.
- You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and stop Google Analytics on every website with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Categories
- Essential: run the website, protect the forms from spam, keep the site secure and remember your cookie choice. Always on.
- Analytics: show us how visitors use the website, so that we can improve it.
- Marketing: show us which of our adverts lead to transport requests, and let Google (and, once connected, Meta) use that information for our advertising.
- Preferences: we do not set preference cookies of our own.
The tools on this website
Running now
These are the tools that set cookies or collect information about your visit on this website today.
| Tool (provided by) | Category | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Online store platform (Shopify) | Essential | Runs and secures the website, remembers your cookie choice, and handles checkout when you pay through a payment link. |
| Form spam protection (hCaptcha) (Shopify) | Essential | Checks that a form is sent by a person and not by a bot. |
| Quote form spam protection (Turnstile) (Cloudflare) | Essential | Checks that the quote form is sent by a person and not by a bot before your request is passed to our quote service. It runs only on pages with the quote form. |
| Shopify analytics (Shopify) | Analytics | Counts visits and page views for our store reports. |
| Google Tag Manager (Google) | Analytics and marketing | Loads the Google Analytics and Google Ads tags below, only as far as your choice allows. It does not set cookies of its own. |
| Google Analytics 4 (Google) | Analytics | Measures how visitors use the website: pages viewed, quote forms started and sent, and clicks on our WhatsApp, phone and email links. |
| Google Ads conversion tracking and conversion linker (Google) | Marketing | Records when a visit from a Google advert leads to a quote request, a WhatsApp message or a call. When you send the quote form, it sends Google one-way codes (hashes) of your email address and mobile number, never the details themselves. |
Not connected yet
We may add the tools below to measure our adverts. Neither runs on this website yet. Before we connect any of them, we will update this policy, and once connected they will run only as far as your choice allows.
| Tool (provided by) | Category | What it will do |
|---|---|---|
| Google & YouTube app (Google, through Shopify) | Marketing | Records payments made at checkout for our Google adverts. |
| Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Facebook & Instagram app) (Meta, through Shopify) | Marketing | Measures visits, contact clicks, quote requests and payments that come from our Facebook and Instagram adverts. |
Clicking a WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, which is run by Meta. The button itself does not set a cookie on our website.
Information our website keeps in your browser
Our website keeps a little information in your browser's session storage. Session storage is deleted when you close the tab or window.
| Name | What it holds | Why |
|---|---|---|
| lg_attr | Advertising click identifiers and campaign tags from the link you arrived on, the page you first landed on and the address of the website that sent you. | Added to a quote form you choose to send, so that we can see which adverts bring real transport requests. It leaves your browser only inside that form. |
| lg_lead | After you send the quote form: its reference number, the service, the page, the time, whether it is for a business, and one-way codes (hashes) of your email address and mobile number. | Lets our confirmation page record your request once. The hashed codes go to Google only if you allowed marketing cookies. It is not used after 30 minutes. |
| lg_bar | A marker that you opened the business account application form. | Lets us record a business account application once. |
